The Padres have won 2 in a row against the NL West leading Arizona Diamondbacks! How cool is that! Finally we get a win….and another…against the reigning NL West champs! Im pretty happy, I just hope we can get the sweep today in Arizona.

Last night Peavy pitched a great game and catcher Hundley made his Padre debut also. Seeing as both our catchers are on the disables list now, Hundley was called up to play his first game in Arizona…where he went to college. Im sure he was excited about that!

Also last night, Scott Hairston hit 2 homers definitely contributing to the Padre win. Nice Job!

We’ll see how todays game goes….the Big Unit is pitching for the Diamondbacks against our Banks. Hopefully Banks can hold his own against the pitching ace and future hall of famer Randy Johnson (who I have always liked.) Good luck boys!
