Just dont have it…
So Interleague play is finally coming to an end…and a good thing that is…Padres just dont have it against American League teams! As much as I hate to say it, its unfortunately true. They are 3-14 in Interleague play with a losing streak of 7. =( Boy, does that hurt!
Today is the last game against our American League rivals, the Mariners, who got the best of us this year. Starting pitcher is Jake Peavy for my boys so hopefully he can grasp a win for us to get us out of this crazy losing streak.
Brett Tomko comes to San Diego….I hope he can do something for us because we are in need of some more good pitchers and relievers…
Speaking of good pitchers, Chris Young threw a simulated game a few days ago which means he’s getting better…he still needs a few surgeries to the nose but hopefully soon enough he’ll be back to pitching for the PADS.
