No more winning streak
The San Diego Padres’ 5 game winning streak came to an end last night against their rivals; the los angeles dodgers. Although future Hall of Famer Greg Maddux had a strong start for my Padres by pitching well and making some great plays, it didnt hold up unfortunately. In the top of the 7th inning, 2 fly balls were lost in the stadium lights
and this led to the downfall for SD. They ended up losing 7-2 to the ‘freakin’ dodgers.
Now let’s go back to the bright side of things…Jake Peavy (last years Cy Young winner
) will be the starting pitcher for the PADS tomorrow! FINALLY he is back off the DL! Oh, how i’ve missed him! Before he went on the DL he was one of the league leaders in strikeouts, now he is far behind, but hopefully he can come back as his old self to get us some wins again! This will be his first start since May 14th!
Speaking of league leaders; our very own Adrian Gonzalez (A-GON) is 2nd in RBIs, 4th in homeruns, and 10th in hits in not just the national league, but all of MLB. Sooo, he definitely deserves a trip to the All Star game to help the NL end the AL’s 10 year winning streak.
With that said…Vote ADRIAN GONZALEZ to the All Star game!!!
